Happy with Investment

My vet recommended using Figo and I've been satisfied with the experience. Although I wasn't happy my premiums increased in my first year without placing a claim, I've found Figo to be the real deal. Placing claims are a simple process and most of mine were processed quickly. I found the Pet Cloud app to be easy to use although I wish I could update my payment information through the app. I think pet insurance is a worthy investment and I wish I could insure all of my animals through Figo including my pet rabbit and bearded dragon.

Had to take one of my dogs to emergency…

Had to take one of my dogs to emergency hospital after he was attacked by another dog. I submitted the claim to FIGO and was reimbursed within a couple of days! Great customer service. I highly recommend FIGO.

FAST customer service!

Recently submitted our first claim for an unexpected pet bill when our cat got sick. Not only was everything easy to access and submit through the app, but the return (after our deductible) was closed VERY fast and our refund was in the next business day. I texted their customer service to ask about when the refund might come and they got back to me right away. Very pleased with their customer service and speed. Highly recommend!

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
