I have done my research on many pet insurance companies. Figo topped them all! I was very impressed with Figo! And I will definitely be spreading the word about my love for Figo! As soon as our new kitten, Linkin turned 6 weeks we signed him up. Love the ap and cloud! Very user friendly. I even called Figo directly to clarify something on the documents and got right through to a live person who was so nice and helpful. Their rates, plans, and customer service are very impressive!
We were searching for new pet insurance since all three of our rescue pets were on three separate plans most of the plans only covered up to a certain amount and one of the plans sky rocketed so we felt doomed! After weeks of searching we found Figo, the plans, deductibles etc. fit our budget and it has a cool app! So we signed all three up, I was reassured when I went to my vet an told the girls at the front I had new insurance they said OH forget it your not going to get anything back everything will be Pre-exsisting my little one has $500 worth of X-ray last week it was so simple I took a photo of our invoice and off it went into our Figo ICloud with in 5 days I was contacted an told I have reached our deductible and that Pebbles visits were not considered Pre exsisting an we will be getting some money back !!

If you're new to pet insurance, you'll probably do what I did, get about fifteen quotes (or more! From everyone!) sit down, look for reviews, read the fine print and wonder why exactly you should pick Company A and not F or K. We seriously spent about a month before the arrival of our puppy trying to decide... In the end, I chose FIGO.
They have been nothing short of amazing.
-Non-routine vet visits are covered, as opposed to not.We seriously just visited to ask our vet about a rash, and it was covered.
-Mobile app makes everything easy.
-There is a personal touch for everything they do. AppChat, text, facebook them, they WILL respond.
-Reimbursement is fast. Filing is fast. Everything is made so you don't have to spend several days trying to file your claim.
-Rates are great.
-Skip the waiting period on Patellas/knees by having a vet verify they are healthy; crucial for working, sport or active dogs.
It's just, ease in peace of mind. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Fast, easy claims and excellent customer service!
We got a new puppy and the vet recommended pet insurance. I was very skeptical and, after reading reviews of pet insurance companies, I didn't feel much better. I was about to give up when I found Figo. The website, sign up process, and pricing were straight forward and they promised to make pet insurance simple. I also liked that all of their documents and processes were online via the Pet Cloud and seemed easy to use. After reading some positive reviews, I went ahead and signed up (still somewhat skeptical).
Unfortunately, exactly one week and one day after we signed up for Figo, we got the "opportunity" to give it a test run when our puppy accidentally ingested a naproxen tablet. We took her to the vet expecting that they would induce vomiting and we would go home only to find out that the pill could be fatal. She was admitted to the hospital and spent three days and two nights in their care. Every day, when the hospital billing coordinator would call with the financial update, I crossed my fingers hoping that Figo would be as easy to work with as promised.
When the puppy was discharged, I logged into Figo's Pet Cloud and completed my claim in minutes (literally, it took less than 5 minutes). While waiting for a response, the nice people at Figo even sent my pup a get better soon card! A week after I submitted my claim, I got a response from Figo (accompanied by a call to ensure that I understood the details) and am thrilled to report that the vast majority of our bill was covered! There were no surprises as we knew our deductible and co-pay amount and, when I called to ask a question, I received a quick and helpful response.
Based on our experience thus far, I highly recommend Figo Pet Insurance to anyone who wants some extra reassurance for their furry friends. We are even considering adding our older but healthy cat to the policy now that we know how quickly vet bills can pile up. Thanks Figo for turning me from a skeptic into a believer!
Figo is super speedy with getting claims processed. Their customer service is amazing especially Lauren. She did a great job with answering any questions I had and making sure a check that was lost in the mail was expedited to me.
You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.
Age Limits
Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.
Waiting Period
1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)
Exclusions
Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months
Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences
