About a year ago, after searching high and low for the right pet insurance company, I final went with Figo. Although Figo was new, Figo had great coverage, covered more, and was with affordable. The set up was so easy. The pet cloud app was amazing. At that time, all i did was upload and submit my dogs recent health exam.. Last week, I filed my first claim, as my dog had an ear infection. This is how easy it was. I did not fill out any paperwork. All I did was take a picture of invoice with my I- phone after the vet visit, press claims icon on pet cloud app, and submitted to FIgo claims department. Thereafter, Figo claims department called my vet to verify my claim. I texted Figo, and they said I will know soon. Within 3 days, I received an email that my claim was processed. I didnt expect it that fast. Glad I went with Figo.
This company is a joke. They denied my claim several times and each time they came up with a new reason. Just grasping for straws. One of the times they denied my claim they quoted what I said when I called to schedule a Vet appointment. I had stated that I thought my dog had an illness even though later I submitted a letter written from my Vet telling them that I was wrong and that my dog didn't actually end up having that illness they denied me because of what I had said when I booked the appointment. Over the Vet. Absolutely ridiculous. I never got a penny back and I cancelled insurance.

When I contacted FIGO the information provided was very helpful. The Agent guided me through the website and helped me download pertinent information on both of my dogs.
You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.
Age Limits
Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.
Waiting Period
1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)
Exclusions
Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months
Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences
