I have been so impressed with FIGO! Expectations exceeded.

I have been so impressed with FIGO, during the first 8 months of coverage so far. I got coverage for my 2 young huskies. Every claim I have submitted (8-10 so far) has been processed so quickly, way faster than I ever expected (like 1-2 days), and the deposit is in my account 1-2 days later. No concerns whatsoever with what they've covered. It's so easy, I haven't had any need to contact customer service yet. I've used the iphone app to submit my claims. My only negative is that the app is NOT ipad friendly (or at least it wasn't the last time I tried to use it ~6 months ago). Otherwise, very very pleased with this service!

Great payouts, steep premium increase...

Was a little skeptical because it's a newer company but my dog unexpectedly got cancer this year and the payouts have been stellar. Loses 1 star because her premium is going up TREMENDOUSLY this coming year (a 25% increase). Should have been a more gradual increase.

Figo is well above any other pet…

Figo is well above any other pet insurance I have had before. They strive to do better each time I deal with them. i would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to insure a pet

I am so grateful for Figo

I am so grateful for Figo. My dog has a habit of eating everything and she just had surgery to remove plastic from her tummy. The 3 days in hospital came to be about $2600 and because we hit our $100 deductible a long time ago, I only had to pay for $250 of it. It makes an already stressful situation so much easier to navigate knowing that cost is not a factor in helping your pet. And all for $35 a month, why wouldn't you get Figo?! I tell all pet parents I meet to go with Figo!

The claims are fast

The claims are fast, refunds fast and customer service very good, friendly and helpful. Its good to have someone on your side during these stressful times with our fur babies. I did a lot of research and so glad I picked Figo.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
