Figo customers have exclusive access to the Figo Pet Cloud app, including features like a 24/7 Virtual Vet and easy mobile claim filing. No pet insurance company covers pre-existing conditions, but Figo is the only one who will help you identify those conditions at the start of your policy. If you don’t think you’ll get value out of pet insurance after your initial review, just cancel within 30 days of signing up to get your money back.

This company is amazing

This company is amazing. They process claims with extreme speed, are very fair and no-nonsense, no giving you a run around. The customer service is great and even when contacted by e-mail responds promptly and takes care of issues. We had another insurance before this (this is our 3rd year with this company) and I cannot believe the difference. Fully earned 5-star rating.

Figo is by far the best Pet Insurance…

Figo is by far the best Pet Insurance available. The application and platform for Figo is intuitive, creative, and comprehensive. As first time pet owners, I can honestly say that Figo has made filing and more importantly understanding claims a true breeze. More importantly their customer service agents are extremely responsive caring and friendly.

If they can deny, they will. Insurance companies do not like to pay claims.

We welcomed a 9 1/2 week old yellow labrador (Winnie) to our family March 26, 2019. She had a urinary tract infection and we promptly had her treated for the problem with antibiotics. I began to research pet health insurance just as a precaution. At her follow-up visit with the Vet, I asked his recommendation and he said many of the families he works with have found the insurance to be beneficial. I chose to proceed with FIGO. The next time Winnie went to the vet, she needed to have an ultrasound done of her kidneys to be sure there wasn't a congenital defect. There was no deformity and her urine was clear. I submitted the test to put toward our deductible. FIGO did not have anything to pay out for this visit, only to apply it to the deductible. They refused stating this is a chronic condition. First, I didn't wait until the pup was 6 months old with chronic issues and second, infections are not chronic issues. That's not much different than saying an ear infection is chronic. That is not true. Their medical "expertise" is flawed. Antibiotics cleared up the infection and thankfully, Winnie has been healthy since. This is A SCAM company who will refuse if they can get by with it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Really glad I chose FIGO for my pet insurance

I have had several occassions where I had to file claims for my active dog. Figo makes it easy, responds quickly, and pays promptly. This is a company I heard about through friends in the dogsport world. I'm very pleased with the coverage

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
