They increased my rate more than DOUBLE for no extra coverage

Figo was great at first for the first two years. Now suddenly my renewed policy increased in price more than DOUBLE what it was last year. With no warning in the mail or by email. All they did was send an alert in the app which I don’t check regularly because I barely go in the app since my dog is thankfully very healthy. The only solution they offered me was to change my plan for less coverage. Why on earth would I do that when I can switch company’s and get the same or more coverage for a lesser price. I convinced my family and friends to get figo for their price and I now had to warn them to switch before they get ripped off like I did.

Figo Unlimited Plan

Excellent service and plan options. Quick and easy claim processing and payment time. Only downside is the deductible and premium on my account almost doubled in the 5 years I had it.

Great Service

I’m an LVT and have had to help clients get their pets’ records to their respective pet insurance companies. The difficulty some clients have getting claims submitted is astounding. Figo is by far the easiest pet insurance company to work with. I can submit a claim through the app which makes it super convenient. I love having the documents at my finger tips so I can check my policy anytime I need.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
