Figo | Pet Insurance Review

We have found that our policy does not cover nearly has much as we had hoped. We have had multiple vet visits not be covered due to pre-existing, but still struggle to understand how they are related. We also had part of a surgery that was not covered, due to it being preventative, but if the surgery would be needed in an emergency it would then be covered. If our policy goes up, we will most likely cancel due to lack of coverage.

Too bad people insurance isn’t run like Figo. Filed a claim and it was processed and paid within 3 days. Awesomeness.

Takes a bit of time for turnaround and most EVERYTHING that you send in they state is out of policy. If you have puppy or older dog, I would avoid this insurance.

Impossible to get a claim paid. This insurance company is a scam. They claim pet's illness was prior to the end of the waiting period and it is not. DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE!!! I trusted them because of Costco and I will be complaining to Costco. They just take your premium and pay out nothing. I can't hate on them enough. One star is too much for this scam company. Edit for Figo's reply. I chatted and called, and I kept getting the same canned answer and I was pushed off to sending an email to the "appeals" department. Based on the other reviews I know that would be a colossal waste of time. Honestly, the policy has covered every possible reason not to pay claims. If my dog got hit by a car there's probably a paragraph that says: "your pet rode in a car in the last 5 years so this is pre-existing" or "the accident happened while Venus was in retrograde, and Jupiter was rising therefore the injuries are not covered". I made sure the policy won't renew in October and I'm shopping around for an ethical company that doesn't rip off its customers.

Easy to use. No hassles. Does what they say will do.
