Not the most helpful when in need

Not the most helpful when a claim needs to be filed. There are too many stipulations and fine print and disqualify coverage. Not to mention of your ever had an issues prior to having the pet insurance it qualifies as a preexisting condition. For instance, if your pet gets an ear infection prior to the policy being instituted and it gets and ear infection after that qualifies as a preexisting condition. Not kidding! Don’t expect to use the insurance to cover much of anything except accidents. Company does offer a few different plans for coverage and out of pocket but it will cost you.

Excellent company, highly recommend

Figo was wonderful after my dog had emergency surgery! It was super easy and fast to upload the documents, they paid the claim super fast with a detailed sheet explaining what was accepted and what was denied. I recommend them to my clients and friends.

This is the best pet insurance!

This is the best pet insurance! I took my cat to the vet for a vaccine and a wellness exam. The same day I filed a claim, the claim was reviewed and I was reimbursed. Having insurance for my baby gives me such peace of mind.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
