Figo | Pet Insurance Review

Worts company ever, do you’re a favor and don’t use them, I have nationwide and lemonade for my other two pets and Figo is a complete scam and headache. Their claims ppl are rude and just repeat the same memorized BS , I was told my dog was insured after her wellness and vet records as a puppy, two years later she has an injury and they are wanting all new records since she has been insured. WHY??? She’s already insured… my vet has sent them and they keep saying they don’t have them and need more, even her adoption records and company i adopted her from? What the actual fXK? I didn’t get her from an adoption agency and she was declared healthy at 5 months when I hit her from a vet, now at 2.5 years of paying for her insurance and I need to file a claim and they are giving me the run around! Don’t get this insurance!!

I completely regret changing my dogs insurance to FIGO. If I had known that FIGO would refuse to reimburse expenses such as allergy shots and ear treatments, which my previous insurance covered, under the claim that they are “pre-existing conditions, I NEVER would have switched. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s not transparent or enough to claim that the “pre-existing” language is in their policy/paperwork. FIGO should be more transparent and clear an out the fact they won’t reimburse for ANY procedure your dog received prior to getting their insurance “coverage”. FIGO SUCKS!

The app and vet chat are fine. Every time I went to the emergency vet i still paid hundreds of dollars because figo doesn’t want to cover most expenses. I would look elsewhere.

I have been lucky and haven’t had a claim for my dog. But, I am not happy about the increase in the premium. My dog is only three and very healthy but my insurance increased over 100.00. I think it’s sad because we try to take good care of our dogs but many people cannot afford expensive dog insurance.

I want to be able to change my coverage. The coverage I have did not cover what I was told it was supposed to. I can’t figure out how to do that. It’s confusing to use.
