Figo | Pet Insurance Review

I had to submit my claim twice for consideration. Despite paying nearly $70/ month with the understanding that 80 to 90% of charges associated with covered activities and services would be reimbursed. The annual maximum placed on these services makes this insurance almost pointless and I am strongly considering canceling my insurance policy unless these prohibitive restrictions are lifted.

I have only had one claim, but it was paid very quickly.

It was so easy to use. Plus they sent a collapsible bowl and a Figo dog tag I can register for my dog.

Figo has been amazing. It gives me so much peace knowing that I can pay my dogs vet bill with my credit card (if I don’t have enough cash) and get refunded a significant portion of the bill in just the matter of a couple days, literally. I don’t make a lot of money so it’s unrealistic for me to be able to pay a $600 vet bill out of pocket but with Figo, I use my credit card at the vet and Figo refunds me 90% of the bill back on my credit card so I really only spent $60 out of the $600 that was paid to the vet. The monthly payment for Figo is also not expensive and the benefits are great! I recommend Figo to literally everybody I know that has animals. It’s been lifesaving especially with inflation going up like crazy for food, rent, gas, etc. I can promise you I’m 110% a real person, I also read reviews and question whether the person is actually real or not. Insured Tut as a puppy 5 years ago. When FIGO got a new underwriter it was like starting over with a new company. There was no customer appreciation. There’s never been a claim filed, not one. Cost rose from $218 to $360. Coverage & amounts have been seriously reduced. I was told “rates have increased because he’s older” He’s 5! He’s healthy! Unless he’s dead he will get older! I love my pet’s. Unfortunately I’m not liking figo
