Best experience with insurance EVER

Best experience with insurance EVER. My pup was hit by a car in our neighborhood. It was a horrendous experience but she turned out 100% fine thank god. The last thing I would have wanted is to be worried about the major expense. I submitted the invoice to Figo in the app, and in a few days, had a check! No issues whatsoever. I will recommend to everyone. Every insurance provider should take note of how easy this process was.

Excellent!!

So far, EXCELLENT! Got my puppy. Researched Ins plans, thought this one was the best for me. Signed him up and used it the very next day for his first check up. Filed my claim, received reimbursement within 48hrs with auto deposit. Awesome. Very pleased.

Not getting reimbursed for our very young dog due to “allergies “

We had Nationwide Ins for our last dog that unfortunately, got sick and passed suddenly We NEVER had a problem getting reimbursed for any visit. He had kidney stones for years Our new dog, Teddy is 1 1/2 years old. We decided to try Figo on recommendation of friends. We got him at 8 weeks old. NONE of his visits are reimbursed!! I was told his allergies are a pre existing condition?!?! He had a rash and itches. So we are basically paying $60 some dollars a month for nothing. We’re lucky that is all that is wrong with him. But to not reimburse us starting as a puppy is ridiculous. We should’ve stayed with Nationwide. We are literally dishing out money every month for nothing. I guess you live and learn. But word of mouth travels!!!!

When submitting for reimbursement the process has been easy. I get emails quickly with responses. I have been quite pleased with Figo pet insurance.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
