Figo is awesome! Give them a chance!

I’ve insured several of my dogs with Figo all the way back to 2018. My dog Thor has been on Figo Pet Insurance since I adopted him in November of 2019. My experiences have all been positive. Filing claims is super easy and you can check the status of your claim on the Figo/Pet Cloud app. Customer service has always been top notch and they pay out reimbursements quickly. The only thing I wish Figo would have is direct pay to the vet. If they had that, it would help pet parents that can’t pay for vet care and then wait to be reimbursed. Great job, Figo!

Meh...I guess time will tell

Nothing is ever covered and if it is the reimbursement is ridiculous. I'm scared to think what is going to happen if my dog really gets sick or injured. I am shopping for another insurance

Cannot furnish this review as I haven’t experienced completion to the invoices I have submitted; furthermore, what is the status of my claim submission?? A response and update would be most appreciated!

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
