LOVE Figo!!

I have 2 dogs. One under Figo and the other under Petplan. I would have rated Figo as 5 stars but have limited experience with Figo and I only used the policy once to submit a claim that would be applied to my deductible. However, processing the claim took less than 2 days and my interaction with Figo customer service has also been outstanding. WOW!! My other dog has multiple pre-existing conditions so he is stuck with Petplan. Petplan has gone downhill for years now. Processing claims with Petplan takes 2-3 weeks even tho the deductible has long been met. Petplan's customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Very happy with prompt claim response

We are very satisfied with Figo’s Incredibly prompt response regarding the claim submitted (within 2 hours) yesterday. Figo provides confidence and trust knowing that our 2 dogs are covered for their medical needs.

First yr - no issues

Thank goodness our dog did not have any health issues this year, so we did not need to use the insurance. Sign up for insurance was easy. The premiums are reasonable. Uploading documents is easy too.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
