Great Insurance and Customer Service

So impressed with Fetch Insurance, The coverage was great, premiums were good, claims processing was quick and customer service was tops. Would recommend to anyone, especially to first time pet owners like we were. Unfortunately, our sweet puppy had a major heart defect which ended his life at 7 months and the costs for his care were quite high. The coverage and customer service during this difficult time were tremendous.

Justin W

Justin W. responded to my call inquiring about the details of insurance coverage for my cat, Nala. Through the years, I have had at least 1 cat, if not more, and am absolutely aware of costs of getting the best care possible for my cats. While I have had cats, I have never had pet insurance. With costs being so high for many vet services, I decided that this time 'round, ensuring best care for Nala means having insurance to keep her health in check. Justin W. was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He advised me of the benefits available, and ensured I understood the specifics of the policy re coverage for my fur baby. After answering all my questions, the call concluded with me having peace of mind knowing if Nala needs medical attention, she will get it without it causing hardship to either her or me. Insurance or not, she would get whatever help she needs, but knowing I have coverage to help with her needs gives me peace of mind. Thank you Justin for your kindness, and patience. You represent Fetch Insurance in the most professional manner possible, and are an absolute asset to your employer. Thanks for your help!

EDITED: Fetch followed up and now I am happy. .

After posting my original 1 star review (left in tact below), the company responded with the contact number to discuss with an agent and it appears the error will be corrected. Other than this instance, the rest of my experience with Fetch has been very good so I am changing my rating. [ORIGINAL POST: June 9 /2025 TITLE: Bots limited service. Inconsistent application of policies for checking invoices claimed. BODY Appears to be run by bots which is fine if everything goes smoothly, but not good when it doesn't. Good luck trying to find a person of phone number to handle errors. The system was quick to remove uncovered veterinary prescribed food on one invoice (which is fine), but then failed to remove the refund for same food from the next invoice claimed. Ridiculous. ]

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – This Company Does Not Care About Your Pet

I’ve been with this company for over 4 years, paying premiums faithfully every month to ensure my dog was covered in case of health issues. Like many pet owners, I got insurance to help during emergencies—not to be punished for actually using it. Over the years, my dog developed health conditions (which is exactly why we get insurance), and I submitted claims when needed. Now, I’m being hit with a massive premium increase—from $83 to over $128 a month—because I used the insurance I paid for. Disgusting. What makes it worse is that no other provider will take on my dog now due to pre-existing conditions, so I’m stuck with this company that clearly doesn’t care about animals or loyal customers. It’s a trap, and it feels like a scam. I now have to consider a second job just to afford this nonsense. This company claims to care about pets, but in my experience, they only care about profit. Please do your research and think twice before signing up. Once you're in, they know you have no way out—and they take full advantage of that.

helpful and friendly…

Amanda was so helpful and friendly after the previous people I spoke to suggested they couldn’t help me change my policy and I would be stuck with something that wouldn’t work for my dog. Amanda talked me through my options and explained them all. Although I had to cancel my preexisting policy, I was able to update to something that wouldn’t ultimately work better for me and my dog.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
