Useless Scam

Went with embrace for coverage for my three dogs wellness health. Figured with three dogs we might have problems and didn't want to run into any scary situations where we couldn't pay. This service was totally useless. Didn't cover wellness. Didn't cover spaying. Didn't cover dental. But they do write nice letter saying that they need more invoices. Please don't waste your money. This is a total scam. They never paid or reimbursed for one claim on any dog for the year that we had the service. And that's after we had met our $500 deductible on each dog.

Waste of money cancelled today!

Finally went ahead and cancelled my policy. The review would be too long if I explained everything wrong with this company. After nearlyn2 months I finally got my claim reimbursement a whopping 5 dollars. Mind you I had to doball the work sending records they claimed they never got and even had my vet send them. Like pulling teeth getting ahold of customer service. The adjusted claimed she called me. What business will calland not leave a message? I was told they'd reemburse a percentage of medications. I got 0% my dog broke a toenail which was painful and she was walking on 3 legs adjuster claims it was a pre existing condition so no re embursement wth? Only reason I gave 2 stars is because customer service (when you finally get them) are extremely nice and knowledgeable. Otherwise they would get 0 stars from me.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
