Efficient and smooth claim process
Our dog recently needed CCL surgery. The claim process has been incredibly smooth for all 3 claims so far (the surgery had pre-op and post-op costs). Embrace did everything well and efficiently.

Embrace thank you! You made a very unexpected and stressful surgery for my 18 month old Jack Russell easy. Worrying about my little girl and the money was made a whole lot easier by your claims process. The explanation of benefits was easy to understand and money was deposited quickly. Finally received some reimbursement for my pet care expenses. The website remains wonky but my refund deposited really quickly.

Double premium on my renew date
I had great experience with embrace in the past. The reimbursement was quick and easy. But I decided to switch embrace to other insurance company after they doubled my premium on my renew date. I haven't submitted any claim for the past 2years. It is unacceptable that they increased this much.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
