New Customer

I'm not sure how this pet insurance will be since I am new with this company. Time will tell. Been using another pet insurance company for the last 10 years. I like that this company has a yearly deductible overall as opposed to a deductible for each condition. The only problem I see so far is limited hours of customer service and the wait time is a minimum of 10 minutes

Worst pet insurance experience ever

Worst pet insurance experience ever. I submitted two claims over the summer that were never reimbursed. They claimed I needed to meet my deductible and spend an additional $38, which I did, but they only reimbursed me $12. I previously had Lemonade Pet Insurance, which was outstanding, but Embrace has been a nightmare for nearly a year. I would never recommend them to anyone—it's been a total scam

Submitting claims and receiving…

Submitting claims and receiving reimbursements for challenging health concerns for our dog has been so easy. Would rate 5 stars if our monthly fees didn’t continue to increase every year as our dog ages. I have called and talked with customer service and been told this is the way it is. Overall would get pet insurance again, just wish it was more affordable.

We purchased pet insurance a few months ago for our beloved cats and it has proven to be one of our best choices! Embrace processes claims at lightning speed and it’s all done painlessly. No hoops to jump through with Embrace, one only needs submit proper documents and within 24-48 hours, we found our claim processed and we were quickly reimbursed. Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
