Comprehensive coverage for a reasonable cost

Customer service rep explained everything to help me decide on plan choice. Reasonable rates with option to assist in wellness visits and regular meds. Almost half the cost of my previous insurance premium, which only covered accident/illness

Great Pet Insurance

Embrace is not cheap but in my opinion well worth it. My boxer birth date is January 3, 2016 and has been insured with Embrace since May 2016. I researched most of the pet insurance companies and decided on Embrace. We have both Wellness and Accident and Illness. I have never had a problem getting my claims paid. In May 2024 she was diagnosed with Degenerative Myeloplathy and has be going to rehab once a week since then. Embrace has paid all my claims. On 2 occasions there was a misunderstanding with the adjuster but that was quickly resolved and paid accordingly. BTW I have direct deposit and most of my claims have been in my bank account within 5 days except for the 2 claims which were questioned were paid within 2 weeks. I have nothing but praise for Embrace Pet Insurance and glad I chose Embrace for my boxer to be covered. Frankly I am sorry to see so many negative comments and I can honestly say I am 100% satisfied.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
