Detailed, concise and great follow through.

We appreciate the in depth evaluation of our dogs claims conducted by Taylor. It was fair, concise and detailed. Taylor renewed my confidence in the fact that Embrace was going to follow through with the appropriate reimbursements on our dog’s medical bills. This insurance was recommended for us by a DVM. We are happy to continue with Embrace. Online and email communication was great. The only thing to do as a “better” is the communication by telephone can be less of a wait time. We waited 30-60 minutes on two of our phone calls for clarification.

Embrace Pet insurance is the BEST!!!

I adopted a rescue dog about 2 years ago and I had to take him to the vet for blood work, x-rays, etc and the vet bill was a lot of moolah. Good thing for me that I signed up for the Embrace Pet insurance illness and wellness plan. The claim process was very easy. I have since submitted claims on my phone and on my laptop and they are generally processed within 2 to 3 days. Having the pet insurance saves me money in the long run especially if one day he may need speciality care. If you don't have pet insurance for your fur baby this is the one to get.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
