Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I was very happy with the way my very first claim was handled. One of the best features was how the company communicated with me letting me know they received it and was working on it, then that the check would be mailed. Also I appreciated the little time it took to process my claim. Thank you

Embrace recently added a wellness plan that is fantastic! My dog, Eddie, recently went in for his annual physical where he was tested for heartworm and also issued a year's worth of the heartworm preventative. I faxed in the claim sheet the next day and 2 business days later the money was automatically deposited in my checking account. I was also emailed several times throughout the process making me aware of what stage my claim was in and when I could expect my reimbursment. Couldn't ask for a more seamless, speedy, efficient process than that! I can only hope that I will never have to use the insurance for anything other that wellness, but if need be, I know Embrace will take care of both Eddie and I. Thanks for being such a great company and giving me a great peace of mind!

I conducted extensive research before purchasing pet insurance for my 3 dogs. I chose Embrace for the detailed explanation of what was and was not covered. I recently had 2 of my dogs neutered and withing 2 weeks of submitting my claim, I received both checks for the $200.00 wellness reimbursement for each dog. Embrace representatives continually kept me posted on the progress of the claim and to make sure that I had received the reimbursement checks. I'm glad I chose Embrace and would recommend them to other pet owners. Their rates are very competitive and the items that are covered and not covered are spelled out in plain terms.

I am in AWE! Embrace is fabulous and I am telling everyone I know about it. I've requested some pamphlets so I can bring them to dog shows and give them to everyone I know. I have had pet insurance in the past and it has never compared to Embrace. The insurance is exceptional, the price is reasonable and the agents are just wonderful to deal with. We have had pet insurance on our dogs for years. We never had too much use for it until the last 5 years. Our mutt needed a TPLO and one of my Newfies needed 2 TPLO's plus an additional corrective surgery. In general we got half back each time. Not impressive. Then I decided to do another review of all policies available and used this site to assist. I switched to Embrace. Recently, the same Newfie who had the three surgeries had a stroke to his spinal cord and lost the use of his hind legs. He had two MRI's plus a myriad of other diagnostics and then spent 2 weeks in a specialty rehab clinic. Thankfully he is doing well. Embrace paid 100% after my yearly deductible (yearly not per incident) and my 10% co-pay (which I chose). They did not cover the bath the clinic gave him - oh well :) Am I happy - you bet. And the folks there are so friendly and helpful - you are not calling a "help desk" or "call in center" - you are talking to real people who care. I've never written a review like this before but this insurance has been a major blessing for us. We are not in a great financial position at this time (who is?) and receiving back almost 100% of this unexpected expense has been nothing short of life saving for us. It is not cheap for us to insure all 6 of our dogs but it only takes one incident like this to prove its value.
