Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I don't normally write reviews regarding things people are supposed to do automatically since it is their job. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly Embrace reimbursed us for the spaying of our dog, Keesha. I expected to wait months, but it was only a short while. Our experience with Embrace is a very positive one. This is a very seriuos and efficient pet insurance and we are very satisfied with their handling of claims.

I like the customer service- embracers are easily found to answer all questions. I only wish the check could come a few days faster, but otherwise I am satisfied.

I got pet insurance shortly after getting my kitten, Mango. I work at a vet hospital, and I know the expense of owning a pet and what emergency visits can cost. I am very much into educating every client and new pet owner that pet insurance is something they need to get. I have found that Embrace Pet Insurance is one of the best pet insurances around. I like that their wellness rewards program can allow you to spend money towards products and procedures, where as other insurances would not cover. I recently made my first claim, which was Mango's neuter. A procedure that I would have had done regardless of pet insurance, but having the insurance made paying my vet bill so much easier.

I’ve had Embrace Pet Insurance for just over a year. I have 2 of my pets insured, about to insure a 3rd. Over all, the company is great! They have awesome customer service, have never had an issue with coverage, and although pricier than others, I find it to cover more than other companies. Their wellness coverage is great, especially the new $400 plan… perfect plan to be able to get annual vaccines and exam, flea and tick prevention for the year, and heartworm prevention for the year… and still have money left over! If you don’t care about wellness coverage, there are other companies you can check out (like Trupanion) that are a little less costly but also have good coverage… But if you want all around coverage, Embrace is your place. I have submitted several claims- both wellness and illness claims… Usually, wellness claim reimbursements are quick (although this last submission took a week). Illness claims always take a little longer, but it has never taken more than 2 weeks to get my money back. I like knowing that Embrace is there to back me up when my babies get sick. It’s a horrible feeling not having the money to be able to pay for treatment, diagnoses, or procedures to properly take care of my “kids” and I never have to worry about that while having Embrace Pet Insurance… My pets get better healthcare than I do!
