Satisfied

I had tried VPI for a couple of years and was very unhappy with the amount of their reimbursements. Shortly after I switched to Embrace my Mastiff was diagnosed with a bladder problem that will require medication for life. Embrace covers 80% of this each month promptly with no hassle. I would recommend them.

Glad I Had A Choice!

October of 2010 my 4yr old dog was diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma (cancer) on all four paws. Some people were telling us to put him down. The unusual presentation of his disease had us doubting this diagnosis so, we went to see specialists. The testing was very expensive but Embrace covered exactly what they said they would. Some of our many bills since August have been over $1,300. Good news! It's not cancer, but a related autoimmune disease with a similar name. He isn't dying and can have a decent quality of life. I'm happy that because of Embrace we had the financial ability to get the correct diagnosis and treatment for our wery loved pet.

I love this company!

We have used Embrace since 2007 for our Rotty mix dog and it has been the BEST company!! They really pay attention to their customers and go out of their way to help you. My dog, Kodo, has had numerous health issues, including a botched ACL surgical procedure, and they have never denied payment. They have also replied personally to my requests, comments and inquiries immediately. I WISH the other companies I deal with had the quality of service they do. I tell EVERYBODY about Embrace and at the dog park I always bring up the peace of mind we get from having Embrace Pet Insurance. Thank you for all you do!

happy so far

My accident-prone lab puppy has made me very well acquainted with our vet in her short 7 months (UTIs, infected bite wound, eating non-food objects). Embrace has processed all the claims quickly and with a minimum of fuss. I recommend them.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
