Claims are taken care of immediately.

I recently took Jack for his yearly checkup and vaccinations. I faxed my claim to Embrace and had a check for the entire amount in 10 days. Thanks for the peace of mind I get from having Embrace to take care of Jack's medical needs.

Preventives

I would like to say that I can't believe that I was reimbursed for pet preventives!!! I received my first claim check and was excited to see that I received a check for Heartworm Medicine and Frontline. After my last experience with my previous dog who passed away of Lymphoma; I promissed myself that my next dog would have pet insurance. I am very satisfied and happy that I chose Embrace for my dog's insurance and look forward to a long healthy relationship with Embrace. Great program!

I just filed a wellness claim for my limited edition (some people say mutt) Molly and got a quick response. This plan is fantastic. I actually got back more than I paid for the wellness plan and I still have Molly covered for accidents and illness for a whole year. Frankly I don't understand why all pet owners don't take advantage of this great program.

Horrible exxperience

Changed pet insurance because of the rating of 9 out of 10. Have had nothing but hassles about pet's vet care and documentation of health records. A claim submitted in early April has yet to be paid, and unless I called, no one would have let us know that the claim was still being reviewed for one visit! I'm glad others have had a good response.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
