Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Overall, Embrace was timely with their explanation of benefits and covered most of my wellness and illness claims. My rescued dog was very sick the first year that we had him and most of his bills were covered. My one complaint was that when we got him from the rescue agency which pulled him from a high kill shelter, he had skin, ear, eye, and gastrointestinal conditions which subsequent bouts of the same illness were not covered for 12 months.

Excellent insurance company! My cat has been unlucky the last several months, she got sick in june, then july and then in october she had a little accident, and every time I had to go to the vet's office, Embrace paid the vet's visit amount, no questions asked! I will stay with them as long as I have a pet or pets in my family!

I had my girl's spay/microchip appointment on Oct. 31, 2012. She also received some pain meds for after the surgery and flea medicine and fecal exam. Al covered. Today is Tuesday Nov. 6, 2012 and the claim has been processed and my money deposited back into my account (376.00). That is less than a week (including a weekend), and may have been faster had my vet not neglected to send my detailed invoice in the initial fax. They sent it a day later. All and all embrace has been in contact with me every step of the way. When I sent in any documentation I always get a follow up email. I honestly am surprised by the service and speed with which they handle everything.
