It Paid
Totally true story-- I adopted my dog in April. My last one had a lot of chronic diseases plus one emergency surgery and I didn't have insurance. I decided to get it with the new one and after much comparison went with Embrace because of customizable plans and other features such as actual cost reimbursement annual not per incident deductible. She was diagnosed in October with insulima, a tumor on her pancreas. I opted for surgery to prolong good quality life but not cure her. Surgery went well and biopsy was encouraging but she developed severe pancreatitits and became diabetic. SHe spent 8 days in the ICU and still needs lots of care. The only bright spot in this whole thing has been Embrace (plus the kindness of others). even though she was so newly ensured the paid up in full. I'm only giving a 9 not a 10 because of the delay in processing my claims (for which they repeatedly apologized and did keep me informed of status). To top it off, the customer service rep I talked to emailed me separately to inquire about the dog's status and say how glad she was that at least I was getting reimbursed. Really impressed and pleased.

EMBRACE equals AWESOME!
We have never had pet insurance before but after having Embrace for only a few months for our new German Shepherd pup we are absolutely blown away! The service is terrific and fast and the communications are wonderfully appreciative and courteous! I wish I could get such great service from my own insurer. Thanks EMBRACE!!

Horrible
They denied claims without reviewing them.I did have a pre exsisting allergy exclusion, but they used that to deny eye infections, anything.
Also the Ortho exam is another way they exclude items when My puppy was less than a year.

Claims Process
I can't possibly say enough how convenient, speedy and practical it is to be insured with Embrace and the claims process in general. Not only is the insurance worth every penny but you feel as though it truly pays for itself having the Wellness Benefits. Thanks a million Embrace.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
