Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I recently took out an Embrace policy through USAA, including wellness, for my dog. Just last week, my dog had his annual physical exam, for which I put in a wellness claim. The Embrace app worked very easily to submit the itemized invoice and corresponding vet notes. Within a week, the claim was reviewed and approved. Based on the vet exam, they were also able to significantly shorten the waiting period for orthopedic coverage which is very appreciated as my dog is now fully covered. So far, so good with Embrace - keep it up!

Turning in our claim was extremely easy process. During such a stressful time, it was a quick process with zero issues.

I have had this policy for multiple pets for about 8 years.Their customer service representatives are very helpful and knowledgeable. It should be noted that unless submitted claims are clearly itemized the claims are denied. You need to get a representative who will advise exactly what is required from your vet for reimbursement under your policy. Although this can be a hassle their representatives are very helpful and extremely compassionate. My most recent experience was the same as prior submissions and the claims finally paid. Suggestion: If Embrace added what specific detailed information is required on their claim forms (which are very generic) it would be more efficient and then they would absolutelyreceive 5 stars from me.

I am in the midst of my first claims on my dog. We have carried insurance for 4 years on 2 dogs and not needed it before. Now my dog is ill and I am in the midst of worrying about her but I don't have to worry about my vet bills. Embrace has made filing each invoice and receiving reimbursement quick and easy.
