I’ve had this insurance for several years, this is the only brand I would recommend. They’ve helped me so much with everything, I would not have my dog without them. It should be a consideration like I have to pay for dog food, it’s just necessary and goes into the cost of owning a dog. I wanted the freedom of not needing to depend on anyone financially. Even with the worse possible eventuality, like my dogs 5 syllable chronic disease, I’m still doing well and so is she. That’s because of Embrace, I don’t think any other insurance would’ve stuck by me like they have.

I was definitely disappointed with a recent claim process. An emergency is an emergency, regardless whether it is 5 months or 5 years apart from a similar surgery. My young Golden Retriever needed a second emergency intestinal blockage surgery in less than a year from the first. Evidently the fine print says only one a year. To me, it is like saying to a human- we will only pay for 1 heart attack a year, regardless your body's trauma.

Having Embrace Pet Insurance has saved my dog's life

I've used Embrace Pet Insurance for years and they have always covered the expense. During COVID their reimbursement time was longer than normal, but now all claims are usually processed within 14 days or 10 business days. They sent flowers when me and my dog were hit by a pickup truck two years ago. Embrace is always there during Kona's severe IBD diagnosis, when he at 22 oz of raisins, when he got attacked by another dog and had his ear reattached. Embrace may be more expensive than other insurance companies, but they've stuck with me and Kona when we were dropped by other carriers because Kona was too expensive. As a puppy Kona had been severely abused and required extensive veterinary care and rehab. Embrace stepped up the plate. I wouldn't dream of going with another carrier. I wouldn't have my dog if it wasn't for Embrace always covering Kona's expenses and helping me with bills. I would have run out of funds a long time ago. In the 5 years since I adopted Kona, I've spent well in excess of 20K. Yesterday Kona had 3 lbs of socks surgically removed from his stomach and saved his life.
