Efficient and no headache
I've had Embrace since my corgi was a puppy reading that Corgis tend to overeat and will get into the trash. Haven't had to use it after 9 years until he needed a mole excised as well as his teeth. It was seamless and Embrace contacted the vet if there was any details they needed. Payment was fast and painless.

Absolute trash
Absolute trash.
I didn’t have them long before I needed to file a claim. The process was straight forward at first, then came the request for more documents. At first I thought maybe the vets weren’t responding to the insurance emails, but once I got involved it became apparent they were willfully ignoring the info that was sent. So basically I paid my vet bills and added an additional monthly fee for a so called insurance company to put my claim in limbo so they didn’t have to pay it. After email and phone tag trying to get to the bottom of things, the info sent has a slightly different name to it so they refused to even look at it despite having all the required info. I canceled immediately.
***update***
Since they replied with a cookie cutter response here: let me be clear-this is NOT a case of me getting impatient. The vets involved all agree that “Embrace” was either intentionally making it difficult or incompetent.

This was my first claim and I started…
This was my first claim and I started by contacting customer service to be sure I was submitting properly. The team was extremely helpful and everything moved along quickly. It was even more helpful when a prior document for my puppy was missing and as handled directly between embrace and my vet.
The claim was completed quickly and updates were sent through the process. Emergency surgery for my 10 month old puppy was stressful enough and the embrace team absolutely made everything easier.

I wish human medical insurance was this easy and reliable
I wish medical insurance for humans was as easy and reliable as Embrace is. My dog has had a mystery illness for 6 months, requiring a dozen clinic visits, specialists, and expensive diagnostics and prescriptions, and Embrace has been with us the whole way, covering every claim without question and giving us so much peace of mind.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
