Quality of life thanks to Embrace

My small Terrier tested positive for Cushing's about April 2023. Until it was confirmed, ( had to go to several drs and test) I had issues with those being paid. Not because of Embrace but because dr office would not respond to messages requesting additional information. Once it was confirmed all my visits to specialist and dermatologist have been covered. Still not completely under control so he is tested monthly or more depending on symptoms and Embrace has paid them all. It is Feb 2024 and I am so 100% satisfied at how fast they pay the claims. Thank you Embrace.

An absolute life saver

I kept a policy for a decade, luckily not having to use it--until the year we needed it, and it paid for itself and much more. Embrace was so easy to deal with. All of our claims were covered, for dozens of different visits, tests, and medications, all without question. I don't know how we would have gotten through this year without Embrace.

Insure frustration with Embrace

If your primary reason for engaging a pet insurer is to frustrate yourself and your vet practice you entrust with your covered animal, Embrace is for you. If you have an expectation of ease, direct answers from customer service, or any normalcy you’d expected from any other insurer unfortunately I’d suggest seeking another company’s services.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
