Huge fan of Embrace Pet Insurance
Huge fan of Embrace Pet Insurance. My dog came down with an autoimmune disorder and was hospitalized for three days. I submitted all of my claims from my phone and was reimbursed in just a few days with no questions asked. Great company and great customer service.

Good and quick communication
Good and quick communication.
While deciding what type of treatment to choose for my dog’s lymphoma diagnosis, Embrace empathetically helped me secure a pre-authorization so I knew what would be covered, which ended up being everything minus the deductibles for a doxorubicin treatment plan. They explained that they would have to review all of my dogs medical records for the past 12 to 14 months, which might take a couple of weeks, to make sure that she did not have a pre-existing conditions related to her symptoms before I took out pet insurance with embrace.

I've had Embrace pet insurance since I adopted my puppy. Every experience I have had has been pleasant and their claim submission is fast and easy. I am so grateful that I invested in pet insurance and I will always be an Embrace customer.

I have had Embrace for over 10 years…
I have had Embrace for over 10 years and they have always approved and paid my claims promptly. Recently my older dog has had an increase in health issues including some expensive diagnostic testing. Every claim has been approved.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
