ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

I love the foundation. Who wouldn't, who couldn't. Unless you are the epitome of narcissism, the prelude of becoming a serial killer or just a plain hater of all that represents kindness and the practice of empathy towards that which cannot "fend for itself" at no fault of it's own ......then there is no excuse to rate this organization anything but 5 STARS plus. I find animals, of all kinds, a far better species than man and the ASPCA the greatest representatives of that species in all of mankind. And the insurance? Who else is there? You go to the experts on what your insuring....this case it's my little boy.

We don't know exactly when a serious illness began with our dog, but Crum & Forester denied a claim of over $4,000, just under our policy limit, based on speculative information from several different veterinarians as to when the illness began. They are comparing symptoms experienced later with earlier to claim this was a pre-existing condition and thus a basis for denying the claim. It took 3 months after submitting the claim and chasing them for reimbursement. After contacting them again this morning, I was told we would not be receiving reimbursement and that they had determined based on what they felt were similar symptoms that they would be denying the claim. This is bad faith, the Colorado insurance commission will know about it.

the coverages were so close to other insurances it was really hard to choose
