Just another shameful disgraceful insurance carrier who doesn’t pay rightful valid claims.

They’re just a substandard insurance company you pay your payments to, just to have your claims denied. If you love your animal, use a different plan carrier. I mean, what can you expect from a company that has a long history of killing healthy pets. They’ll soon find out it costs much less to pay a claim than it does to lose in court and possibly lose their insurance agent licensing permanently. Update—— NOW they feign their concern with their standard “please call us to discuss”. They only want to discuss when it suits them, not when it matters to their paying customers. Their fake concern in their attempts to stop me from filing lawsuit against them works just as well as their insurance policy… IT DOESN’T. If I could give -5 stars for them, I would.

ASPCA is a complete scam and a joke

ASPCA is a complete scam and a joke. I've been paying $100 a month for absolutely nothing but excuses for claims. Evidently they expect me to get my dog's records instead of calling the vet themselves as it is been 2 months with two claims. If they would invest the time and effort to process claims as any company that's not incompetent would do instead of using that time and effort to make excuses it might be a good insurance company. Absolute disgrace to pet owners

The service was good and speedy

The service was good and speedy. They seem to really care for the animals they are taking care of. The only issue was that the prices are a bit steep. We rushed our cat over because he was unresponsive and we where worried about him. They did blood work and x-rays that they quoted me roughly $800. When I got a call back about the results being negative and keeping him over night for observation for a high fever the amount became between $2,200-$2900. I understand its a business and they need to make money, but that's a big leap. I appreciate the care and constant updates just wish they had affordable pricing.

I should have gotten pet insurance a…

I should have gotten pet insurance a long time ago. I have yet to use this, but I know I will be reimbursed for money spent. I elected to get the care coverage that also covers routine visits and vaccines. I do like that I could choose the coverage and reimbursement rate.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
ASPCA Pet Health Insurance®, provided by Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group through its licensed agency, C&F Insurance Agency, Inc., is committed to improving animal care across the U.S. by making veterinary care more affordable for pet parents. Their Complete Coverage(SM) plan covers accidents, injuries, illnesses and more, and features simplified reimbursement based on percentage of invoice.  Preventive Care is available at an additional cost.
