ASPCA

I learned about ASPCA Health Insurance through a partnership it had with the Virginia Association of Realtors. The Policy is supposed to cover some preventative services, as well as illnesses/emergencies. After more than a year when my labrador had several ear infections and allergies, as well as her well-dog check-up, only one of her claims was paid for $130 out of a $600 bill. As a human health policy expert, with many years of experience working in the Congress on Medicare and federal health issues, I can honestly say that ASPCA's advertised benefits are not honest. ASPCA is definitely not worth the premium.

I submitted a claim a month ago and it…

I submitted a claim a month ago and it hasn’t been resolve at this time. It is taking way too long to have my issue resolved. I received an email over a week ago apologizing for the time that is taking but it is still not resolved. If it is not resolved within the next week I will be looking for another pet insurance.

Extremely slow to process claims

Extremely slow to process claims. Stated when filing that the average claim processing time was 3-4 weeks. 4 weeks later I get a follow-up email With an apology stating they are working on claims as fast as they can. I checked today and still has not been processed or even looked at and the processing time has now changed to 35 days. I I'm now unsure if this will be an ongoing issue as an attempt tonot Pay claims. I will follow up on any claim Is processed to see if i can get reimbursed for at least a portion of the bill i

Great phone representative

I just wrote a great review and lost it! Your phone representative, Shannon in Pennsylvania, helped me sort out a payment schedule, and she is the main reason I am staying with your company! I had the great pleasure of getting her for both of my calls and could not be more grateful for her professional, caring, witty assistance, and you should know what a jewel you have in your employee! I’m new to pet insurance and her assistance ( I was blessed with her answering both times I called), has been a joy! Thank you for hiring such a wonderful person!
