Now taking 8 weeks for claims
I have 2 dogs insured and have been a customer with them for going on 4 years. I’ve had a good experience with claims being processed and reimbursed until this last year. They have been taking an extremely long time to review claims. I always submit claims right when I leave the vet and include the itemized receipt and office notes from the visit. I submitted a claim on 10/09 and didn’t get any response until 10/31 that they needed the full medical history. Well if you go through all the claims you have his full medical history. I re send his notes and still nothing. Now after a phone and waiting almost 4 weeks I’m being told it’s going to take an additional 4 weeks to process the claim. I’m now out almost $500 for 8 weeks! What kind of response time is that. You waited until the end of your 4 week processing time to ask for additional information so you can take even longer to make your decision and delay my money back. Yet you can keep raising my monthly rate for coverage. Take you raising rate and get either more competent employees or develop a new process for your claims. It’s getting ridiculous.
