Insure your pup now!

Online registration is easy and if you decide to make changes or corrections they’re just a phone call away. Excellent care plans; rules are very clearly stated. Be sure to insure your pet BEFORE it’s needed. I waited to join until after my small 3 year old dog needed CCL surgery ($5000). My dog’s surgeon told me if she’d had insurance it would have been covered, but now since she’s had this type surgery, it would not be covered again even if was her other leg (and there’s a good chance she will need it again). I’m kicking myself…that $5000 I spent would have covered a lifetime of premiums!

Policy not fully implemented as of yet

We really cant review ASPCA for claim service as of yet. We have only just begun or policy and no claims have been made. However we can say that the different policy options were presented in such a way as to make key elements remarkably easy to compare, allowing us to evaluate the best options for our new doggie’s age and likely care needs.

It was easy to sign up to get Bentley insured. Only one thing not cleared to me if the monthly payments are automatically charged to my credit card? Please let me know.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
