ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

I have had this coverage for my puppy since I brought her home at 8 weeks old. Overall, I am pleased with this company's service. Pros: Every contact I have had with customer service has been pleasant, even if the result was not what I wanted. Their employees are friendly and helpful, which is unique, unfortunately. Also, I have received my reimbursement checks in a timely manner. Cons: This probably is true of most companies, but I generally find that their idea of what procedures should cost, even though it is supposedly based on the average for my region, is incorrect. Out of all the claims I have submitted (and my, we have had many!), only one matched the expected cost (an emergency room visit, of all things). Overall, I expect an insurance company to be outright sleazy, and I was pleasantly surprised by this company. I will continue to renew my coverage for the inevitable catastrophe.

I am a first time dog owner but have seen the vet bills my daughter has had to pay out of pocket for the care of her dog. I rescued Annie from a shelter and they could give me no idea of her breed mixture. I just know one thing, she loves to run and run hard! Even though she was only 1 year old when I got her last year, I feared for her breaking bones or getting hurt from her intense love for running and playing, so I took out pet insurance with ASPCA. She hasn't broken any bones yet, but I have had two other situations where she needed vet care in the last couple of months. I was certainly pleased to receive a reimbursement from the insurance company for some of those bills.

Nothing really. You send out updates regarding claims immediately upon your receipt and pay soon thereafter if said claims are covered.

My cat had gastritis. The application was easy to download, the vet filled it out and within days, they acknowledge receipt. I was surprised to receive a check after a relatively short time.

I find it easy to be asured that my pet it covered with ASPCA Insurance. If a problem occurs, then there is alwasys someone who can help immediatley. My worried are over with this coverage.As far a my veternainary is concermed, sometimes they get things mixed up, but with patients they have come to appreciate how much my dog Ben means to me. Everyone is always so willing to help. Ben is special and so is ASPCA
