Saved Us

My American Bull dog (2yrs old) has had a number of health issues and I honestly don't think we could have saved her if we did not have this insurance. Thank you ASPCA!!!

Saving Dottie Rose

Dottie Rose is a six year old pit mix dog. She had suddenly became lame in her rear leg. After going to three different vets, she was diagnosed with a torn CCL which requires surgery to repair. Because of her breed and age,the surgeons recommended that Dottie have a TPLO operation which is the most expensive option available to correct her lame condition. Without ASPCA Pet Health Insurance we would not be able to afford such an expensive procedure. The doctors felt that any other procedure would be less effective given her activity level and type of breed. I am very grateful for the quick response of ASPCA Insurance in helping Dottie and me get through this very long and trying experience.Thank you guys at ASPCA for being there when we needed you most.

Excellent Pet Insurance, Caring Staff

We adopted Bella from our local animal shelter when she was 4 months old. She LOVED chewing on rawhide (which was a nice alternative to my shoes...), and when I tried a new brand that had a chicken flavoring, she gobbled it up! Unfortunately, the chew did not digest properly, and she developed an extremely serious case of pancreatitis that landed her overnight in the emergency room, with 2 more half day follow up stays at our vet. The entire procedure was quite costly, but happily our insurance covered about 50%. The ASPCA staff was very helpful in assisting me with filling out the paperwork, and answering my questions, and the entire claim was paid off in a matter of a few weeks. Veteranary care, as I've discovered, can be very expensive. I'm so glad that my Dad talked me into enrolling in a pet health insurance policy for our pets. His dogs were too old to be eligible for insurance when they developed ongoing conditions that continue to be very costly. I now have insurance for both of my pets. Thankfully Max, our other dog, has been very healthy, but I have peace of mind knowing that both Bella and Max are covered, and that we belong to such a caring pet health care plan. I recommend ASPCA highly.

Peace of Mind

We lost a pet at only 2 yrs old from AIHA after spending thousands to save her, even traveling to OSU for research. We knew we needed something to cushion such a large expense and found that with PetsHealth. We have had their plan since getting our latest dog who is now 7 yrs old. She was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and the offset of cost with the insurance has been quite helpful. I would suggest it for any pet owner who would ordinarily consider expensive treatments but would like a small portion of the expense covered.
