Puts your mind at ease

My dog Skye was vomiting and had diarrhea. She was also drooling, which she usually only does when you have food that she wants! I took her to her vet. Knowing I had insurance it was easier to make decisions regarding her care. I filed my claim the next morning and received my reimbursement in 2 weeks. Thank you ASPCA pet insurance!

Caring and Follow Through

Our dog was attacked while we were walking her. Our dog is 35 pounds and the attacking dog was 115 pounds. Our dog sustained serious injuries and had to be hospitalized for 3 days and 2 nights. When she came home, she required great care. I was very impressed when someone from the ASPCA Insurance called to see how our dog was healing. In addition, the claim was processed rather quickly. I am grateful for the concern and the follow through on payments from the ASPCA Insurance? I would recommend them highly.p

Peace of mind

I'm so glad that I was able to give Harley the care he needed when we discovered he had a luxated eye and cataracts. Unfortunately we were not able to save the eye, but he is pain free and still a happy boy. Shortly after that we discovered that he had a cracked tooth which was also removed thanks to ASPCA pet insurance. I am so thankful that I can give my boy the care he needs and know that ASPCA pet insurance will be there when I need them.

Helps me with my cat's vet bills

My cat is basically very healthy, but has had some teeth issues that have had to be addressed by extraction. It's an expensive procedure because it requires general anesthesia and a day of hospitalization. Luckily her ASPCA pet health insurance covered part of the bill, the amount of which went back into my savings account and will help cover future checkups and medications she might need in the future.

I will never recommend you insurance. Very disple

Unfair that you raise insurance due to age. Take long time for payment.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
