ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

This policy is good for chronic illnesses or surprise illnesses or injuries. My cat was just diagnosed with diabetes. We met the deductible quickly and since then we've been reimbursed 80% of all other qualifying expenses (testing and supplies.) The first check took about a month to come through. When I called to inquire they said they were backed up with claims. But after that it hasn't been more than around 7 business days from the time I submit the claim until I get reimbursed. The only reason I didn't give this policy a 10 is because the premiums more than doubled not too long ago with no warning and no other options. That wasn't cool. But overall, I'm glad I have a policy for my cat.

I uploaded the document and was reimbursed in less than a week! Customer service is super friendly and helpful; would highly recommend.

We bought insurance for our dog when he was a puppy after hearing stories about expensive surgeries due to blockages. Well, we never used the insurance for almost 8 years and then in the past year our dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, attacked by another dog (pit bull) and was diagnosed with diabetes. ASPCA has covered a substantial amount of these expenses, so our investment is paying off. The claim turnaround was a bit slow, but is now much quicker.
