Very satisfied with my customer service

I have had AKC for a quite a few years now and am very satisfied with my customer service experience. The agents are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are friendly when I call and explain my questions very accurately, Thank you AKC!

The paper I received should have...

The paper I received should have told us that if you sign up for full coverage that you don't get 30 days free, otherwise we would have waited until we could sign up for the coverage until the time allowed was done; however, it was never specified

your company declined to pay for covered items and some that your claims people said denied to a claim that REQUIRED 180 DAYS OF ( WAITING PERIOD ) THATS NEARLY ONE HALF AO THE YEARS COVERAGE, We will not ever be using your company again;

So patient!

OMG! The people I conversed with were so patient! I truly didn't understand that I had 2 separate insurance coverage pieces - one from AKC, and yours from pet partners. I thank them all! Cindy

Monthly Cost

$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.

Waiting Period

Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims. AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care. Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
