How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Wyoming Veterinary Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I live in Central Oregon. I have been needing to have my 2 year old German Shepherd spayed for several months. My local Vet quoted $1,300 - $1,900 for the surgery! My sister swears by the care and integrity of this Vet. She contacted them & they quoted CONSIDERABLY less. So, I took a road trip! I got to visit my sister, had a vacation, & Zhiva was spayed, all of which totalled about the same cost as my local Vet's quote!! Zhiva is doing wonderfully. More than the first half of her required restricted activity (with no swimming allowed!) was accomplished with the visit & travel. A person can't beat the fair pricing, care & friendliness of the staff!

Our Springer was bitten by an aggressive dog while we were at a campsite. Dr. Rex Rammell and Linda fit Hunter in and treated his puncture wound. The Dr. was very calm and reassured us that the limp should resolve and what to watch for. The clinic is on a ranch with beautiful cats & horses. Their fee was very reasonable. Thank you Dr Rammell & Linda.

These guys are very compassionate and have great prices! Our dog got a foxtail stuck in his ear and other places were going to charge us over 200 just for the walk-in fee. This place charged us less than 150 for the whole visit, including the meds that were given to him. I would highly recommend this place!
