Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Our precious Kaia was taken care of by Dr. McFarland emergently on Sunday night. She had an infection from a puncture in her mouth and was lifeless. He met us at his clinic and was so caring and compassionate. He had to perform surgery on her and called us within 30 minutes! We’re traveling to Michigan and staying in Saratoga. We felt hopeless not knowing the area, or how to get her care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️. She has some healing ahead of her, but she’s still with us🙏 So grateful to you! Cristina , Jennifer and Kaia❤️

The team at Carbon County Veterinary Hospital always goes above and beyond to make sure our animals are taken care of. We’ve utilized them for emergency after hours care as well as regular office visits and both Dr McFarland and Dr McPeek treat every animal we have, from dogs to 4H cattle, as if they’re the most important animal of the day. They genuinely care and it shows.

Our doggie needed to be sedated to have his teeth cleaned and his nails clipped. He is always very afraid of strangers. They were very gentle with him and let my husband go back with him until he was in the kennel. Our doggie was not the least bit afraid and did great. We love the staff here.

We were traveling through Wyoming when an unexpected equine emergency brought us to Carbon County Vet Clinic. We were met promptly by the vet and staff and our horse was quickly assessed. They were compassionate and thorough in their care and patient with us in a very stressful situation. Rawlins is lucky to have such an amazing Clinic. We are grateful for the care we received.
