How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Powell Veterinary Services

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Simply amazing staff. The best veterinarians I have ever used. Been living in Phoenix for years. It was just heart warming to come back and have this clinic still thriving. Thanks everyone there for seeing my old man Ganzer. Best wishes to you all. Make today amazing! And never stop moving forward!

Our dog has eaten an entire bottle of Tylenol and is dying, he’s doing horrible and it’s devastating. We called this place because they open the earliest before all the other vets here in powell, and they told us they couldn’t take him because he will have needed a lot of care and 24 hour watch and they told us we could not take him there. Cassie was horrible and no help at all. When we asked what we could do to relieve him while we wait for other vets to open she had told us to go to a vet as if we didn’t try that and she told us we couldn’t go, really helpful. Would not recommend going here because they will not take your dog.

Great country vet. They are always ready to jump in a save a life or just trim a nail. Prices are reasonable. my only complaint is getting through on the phone is near impossible but they are busy so they tells you all you need to know.

My family and I have been bring our pets here since I was a kid. Even after I moved away anytime anything serious happens with our dogs I make a 360 mile trip to bring them to this clinic. Their prices are unmatchable to any other I’ve encountered. They have extremely capable and kind Vets and vet techs, they truly care about every pet they treat as well as their family. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
