Winneconne Veterinary Clinic
How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Winneconne Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

There has been two separate instances where we have brought in pets for scheduled appointments and received notification reminders for those said appointments only to be turned away due to the Winneconne Veterinary Clinic not having "record" of the scheduled appointments. Mind you we do not live in Winneconne and have driven on two separate occasions for appointments (which we received reminders for three consecutive days prior) only to be turned away. This is not okay. Whether it's an issue with the scheduling system or not, this is bad customer service. To not have this fixed and to not see our pets due to an error and lack of effort to fix your scheduling system AS A BUSINESS is ridiculous. These appointments were months apart as well which should have been plenty of time to fix the issue. You're number one priority is the health of the animals that are being brought to you and number two is the customer service. We will not be returning.

I've been taking my dogs to the Omro/Winneconne Veterinary Clinic for the last 25+ years. They have always been kind, considerate and knowledgeable of not just my dogs but of my feelings as well. I've always had at least two dogs and right now have four. Drs. Wright and Johnson have retired now and I've had one dog to the vet since then. I was shown the very same service that I always had. They all have - including all staff - have the patience of saints with all of the animals.!!
