I'm immensely grateful to Dr. Alexandra Reist, Dr. Ken Linde, and the incredible team at Blue Pearl for saving my beloved dog's life not once, but twice. In August 2023, Magic faced a dire prognosis due to a concerning mass on his spleen. We consulted with several surgeons in the area and were advised against the surgery due to the high likelihood of the mass being cancerous. However, our consult with Dr. Reist was different. During the consult, Dr. Reist dedicated an hour to thoroughly review Magic's medical history with me. She expressed some uncertainty about the nature of the mass, but her expertise and empathetic support guided us through difficult choices. Ultimately, we opted for surgery, and thankfully, the mass proved to be benign, bringing immense relief. However, our joy was short-lived when Magic contracted MRSP, a formidable infection, post-surgery due to a weakened immune system from immunosuppressant medications. Dr. Reist's dedication shone through as she tirelessly worked to combat the infection and its devastating effects. Witnessing her remarkable surgical skills and genuine care for Magic's well-being gave us hope. Throughout this exhausting 8-month journey, Dr. Reist's exceptional bedside manner provided us with the support and reassurance we needed. She took the time to explain every aspect of Magic's treatment plan, ensuring we were well-informed and involved in his care every step of the way. Thanks to Dr. Reist's expertise and the compassionate care provided by the entire staff at Blue Pearl, Magic celebrated his 7th birthday a few weeks ago. Their dedication and skill not only saved Magic's life but also enriched ours with immeasurable gratitude. Thank you, Dr. Reist, and the team, for giving us the gift of more precious moments with our beloved companion.

Always tough to have your pet need surgery but having it at BluePearl in Tukwila was an awesome decision. Dr. Ken and crew helped our pup through a torn ACL (TPLO) surgery with care. He’s doing great. Highly recommend this facility and team.

All I can say is I wish I’d gone here sooner. After 4 long months of tests and trying to figure out what was wrong with my poor pup, we finally got a Cushing’s diagnosis, which ended up being what I thought all along. Dr. Devine was so competent, thorough, and a great communicator and listener. She answered all my questions and for the first time in months I felt like we could see a path to help Sadie get some relief. I also especially want to give thanks to Bree in the office of the Internal Medicine clinic for going above and beyond to stay in communication with me and the rescue during complicated billing and scheduling issues. She was the literal reason I ended up using this Blue Pearl. I’m so glad we took a chance and stayed for our consult. It’s a very tough situation as I had only just brought this dog into my home and now a devastating illness. I’m glad to have these guys for whatever lies ahead.

Our experience with BluePearl hospital from start to finish was fantastic. I’ll make a long story as short as I can… our 9 month old kitten had stopped eating and was brought in on a Saturday morning. We later found that he had a blockage in his intestines from a piece of a gym mat we had caught him chewing on that previous day. We had been given the option of waiting until Monday for an ultrasound to confirm the blockage, or doing surgery asap as Rocket was not showing any signs of improvement that day. The doc answered our many questions and explained every step and any risk along with it. Without hesitation we opted for surgery. Had we waited for the ultrasound, the outcome could have been much different. Rocket had about an inch of mat stuck in his lower intestines which caused it to start dying. To save everyone the icky details, the surgery was a success and we have our little guy back and running around again. I can not say enough about the hospital and entire staff on how great they were through this difficult time for my family. We are forever grateful for them saving our boys life and we highly recommend them to anyone needing emergency pet care. Hands down an all around great experience. Had the outcome end differently, we truly would still recommend them to all. Thank you 🙏🏼

I came in Monday night after a 3 day long trip and noticed my kitty was straining to urinate in his litter box. I had no idea how long this had been going on so off to the Vet ER we go. I’ve unfortunately been to a few Vet ERs and this one they really seemed on top of it. It was super clean and the team really knew their stuff. I was positive it was UTI but they watched over him closely and were really adamant it could be something else. They were right! The vet took the time to explain in great detail was happening. I had no idea male kitties when they’re stressed their urethra can swell and mimic blockage. He eventually peed a bit and she was feeling around his stomach. They felt good about sending him home with me which I was SO happy about. To ease my mind they sent some of his urine off for testing to rule out UTI. They also gave me two different prescriptions to take home. Not only did I get emailed the results the next day I also got another written prescription for wet food that helps with urinary tract. I felt they went above and beyond! Also forgot to mention, a dog came in with what I assumed to be a very serious situation and started to panic that maybe I should go someone where else because they would have their hands full. Talking with the front desk she was great and then immediately the Vet touched base and I’m so happy I stayed. You can tell they really work as a team. I feel their prices are extremely fair for the quality of service. This my new ER Vet clinic. Thank you so much so helping my little boy Angus! He’s a happy camper again and appreciates it too :)
