How to Save Money at Inland Empire Veterinary Imaging
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
It was a great experience we had with Inland. We traveled almost 2 hours to have our fur baby Buddy seen recently. We were treated with the utmost respect and they seemed to prioritize us since we traveled so far. We are not happy for the reason we found them, but so happy they were there in our time of need.

I took my cat Ronald in for an echocardiogram today and was blown away by how kind and communicative the staff was. Even the person I talked to when I scheduled the appointment was VERY kind. The staff here seem to do their very best considering that they also treat emergent cases, so timelines cannot be guaranteed. The gal working at the front desk today was so patient, kind, reassuring and knowledgable. They truly seemed to care about my boy, and I know he can be a real stinker to vet staff. THANK YOU💕

My Boston needed to have a CT done and our vet referred us here to Dr. Simms. Paula was wonderful and extremely helpful when checking in. They understood my concerns especially because my little guy has horrible separation anxiety. They let me hold him in the waiting room until it was his time to get his test done. Lindsay a tech was also amazing. She came out and explained how everything went and updated me on how my dog was doing waking up. She even showed me a photo of him back in the kennel waking up. Just an all around great experience during an anxious time.

Was referred to Inland Vet Imaging by my Vet who had found a mass in my cat's abdomen. Got an appointment the very next day. Very nice and modern facility. Check-in was fast and easy. People were friendly. As anything with veterinary care, nothing is cheap and this wasn't either. However, I was so glad that I asked if they offered a military discount. They do. That did help with the final bill. Very happy with their services.

Very kind and communicative staff. We were there on a referral for consult from our regular vet. Although we did not have an appointment scheduled for imaging, they called me the evening before our appointment to advise that based on the records they received there might be a recommendation for imaging and they had set aside the time just in case. This was very helpful in planning our day since we had to travel a few hours for this appointment and would have had to return if not for the call advising me that it might be an all day appointment and not to feed my dog. Everyone from reception to doctors/techs was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure our pansy of a Doberman was comfortable. The tech I spoke to after the procedure was extremely thorough in making me aware of exactly what was done and what side effects I might see. Pricing was exactly what I expected, quality of care and communication exceeded my expectations based on reviews.
