I have been taking my dog to Sunset for a year now for orthopedic issues and have been so grateful for the team there. My dog will react to other dogs, especially in small spaces, and they have always accommodated his needs (behaviorally and medically), even taking the time to explain to other clients and asking if they wouldn't mind stepping around the corner for us to pass at a safe distance. When we were coming in regularly for rehab they would also ensure to not book the space at the same time as another dog. They have always gone above and beyond to see him healthy and successful. They are thorough and transparent during our appointments and I've never felt rushed or that they didn't genuinely care about what was best for my dog and our situation. If I didn't live so far (40min drive for me) all my pets would go to Sunset for all their medical care.

Dr. Lamb and her team have been an integral part of keeping my pup active and adventuring despite his dysplastic elbows, and they always take good care of him when he goes in for treatments. They are responsive to questions and stay up to date on new research. The facility itself has traction flooring in the exam rooms, which is much better than the slippery tile used in many offices (especially for older, injured, or arthritic dogs!)

Great vet as long as you can plan all of your veterinary needs at least a month in advance. I understand the reasons for this issue, but it does not improve the experience of having to go to an urgent care vet every time for anything that isn’t a chronic issue or a checkup.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the team at Sunset Hill Vet & Rehab! Stanley saw Dr. Lamb for follow-up care and rehab after surgery for a luxated patella (cold laser therapy, hydrotherapy). The entire team did a fantastic job ensuring that he had great care after his surgery. We have also seen Dr. Guan for primary care for the last several years and she is absolutely amazing. The entire team at Sunset Hill Vet is supportive and friendly. They truly care about Stanley's health and well-being. In addition, the mobile app for the practice is super helpful. It is easy to remember preventative care needs and request an appointment. Finally, the front desk staff provides excellent customer service and is responsive to records requests and other questions. Sunset Hill Vet treats your pet like they are part of their family as well and I couldn't recommend them enough!
