How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northeast Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

A great facility with extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind staff. The prices are reasonable, and all charges and procedures are explained ahead of time. As an established patient, I've been able to get appointments fairly quickly depending on the issue I'm experiencing with my pets. I recommend them for general pet care.

We are so happy at Northeast Veterinary Hospital! We have a highly excitable Jack Russell Terrier and she had to have a procedure this week that we were kind of worried about. Everyone at NE Vet was so kind and caring and they said Poppy did such a great job through the procedure and was such a well-behaved girl! It was a great report as she was so nerved up at her last vet that I couldn’t even get her in the front door. I am so thankful we found NE Vet and made the switch, and so is our sensitive little JRT, Poppy!

Love Northeast Veterinary Hospital! The vet is always quick to answer my questions and see my dogs for any sickness/checkup. The caring staff always checks in to make sure my dogs are feeling better and if I have any questions following treatment. Highly recommend!

A very well run practice, with plenty of veterinarians and techs on staff. Every person I have met is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Turn around on labs is quick and a personal phone call from the veterinarian is made to explain results.

My standard poodle was bleeding profusely from the claw on his leg. I took him in just before closing at 6:45pm and he was treated immediately with care. They were not able to stop the bleeding and kept him overnight. I was able to pick him up the next day properly wrapped and doing well. A big thank you to the folks at the Veterinary Hospital.
