How to Save on Veterinary Costs at North Sound Veterinary Urgent Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Experience

Ask whether the clinic has experience treating your specific type of pet, since care can vary between dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Emergency Care Procedures

We had such a great experience at this new hospital! Dr. Rocco took the time to really listen to my concerns about my dog’s energy levels and didn’t just brush it off. He walked me through different options and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I never felt rushed or pressured — just supported. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their owners. It’s such a relief finding a vet who is thorough, compassionate, and willing to work with you to find the best plan. We’re really happy we found this place and will definitely be coming back! 🐾

Can not thank Dr. Rocco and the team enough with the wonderful service and care provided to my pet. A great experience with a thorough exam of my pet, lab testing and creating a treatment plan. Fantastic and prompt follow up, after the visit as well. Thank you again!

We had a great experience at this urgent care veterinary clinic. The facility was very clean and Dr. Rocco and staff were kind, attentive, and clearly cared about our dog. The urgent care model is such a great concept—it’s the perfect middle ground between waiting days for an appointment with a regular vet and spending hours at an emergency clinic. We were able to get our dog seen quickly and received excellent care. I’m really grateful this option exists and would definitely recommend it to other pet owners.

Dr. Rocco is a fantastic and caring veterinarian. I always feel like he offers options and helps me decide what’s best for my dog! Definitely consider taking your pets to see him at his urgent care office in Mill Creek!

I am so happy that Dr. Rocco is back in the area! Followed him across vet clinics until he moved far away. His care for my dog from almost puppy to late teens was absolutely top notch. Where many vets seem to now be in the private equity/revenue generation world, Dr. Rocco is absolutely in the animal care and comfort world. Cannot recommend him highly enough, and very happy to know that he is here for are other now senior dog.
