How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Good Neighbor Vet

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Took my little Princess for her shots, I felt it went extremely well as she didn't seem upset at all! Very affordable

I am looking at the Good Neighbor Vet service. Most of the reviews talk about dogs and arriving early, but one of them mentions what great food they have how the manger went back and made a special order of biscuits and gravy for them. I must admit I am intrigued. I was looking for dog vaccinations, but biscuits and gravy sounds great as well. Will definitely have to check this place out!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Called ahead for 7 puppies was told to be there at 3:30. We got there 3:15 was told they couldn't see us because they where already full. But to wait and see if they could get us in. we waited tell 5 and was told they couldn't see us. There Manger ashlee was no help either told us that making an appointment doesn't meant they well hold a spot. She was very rude and short said it wasn't her problem and said we should have been there earlier then.

Your website advertising said that the clinic at Coastal Farm and Ranch was from 4 until 5 pm I arrived at 3:45 to be told that they had their quota of animals and no more would be seen. I think that they need to plan for more hours , to get shots for pets. When I got their shots last year, I spent more than an hour in line I expected the same this year. Is it time for a second van?

a line does usaually form you have to get there before scheduled time as they have a patient capacity🙂 Ive brought my 5 yeah oldcat for her yearly checkups since she was a kitten and never had any issues. But not gonna lie if you manage to sign up amd get in line the wait is VERY annoying but worth cheap price EDIT: I was avoiding updating review as I had brought my pets here for years but after Covid this service has really gone down hill. Don’t say you’re clinic is an 1 1/2- 2 hour long for other customers and me to get there 15-20 minutes before allotted time slot and to be told that the clinic is already full. Their prices have also gone up substantially and are about the same as visiting an actual vet clinic that will respect their schedule. With that being said it’s not worth the effort or rude treatment. If for whatever reason you still want to give this place a shot I’d recommend showing up ATLEAST 1/2 hour before scheduled time.
