Very accommodating. We bought a couple of their smallest off-the-shelf splints for our 5lb chihuahua. Turns out they were still too large. I brought her to their location (as we are local) and Chris sprint almost a 1/2 hour cutting them down and customizing them to fit.

Be aware of scammy business. No return for faulty product. Purchased a $92 front leg splint medium for my dogs limp. Order number 44353. I emailed them saying - “I’d like to return my unused split from this order. She wouldn’t press her paw down inside the splint and I tried pulling on her paws and pressing down on her joint to keep it flat in there. It just doesn’t work.” They replied with - “We do have an exchange policy, but if it is in resaleable condition we can do a refund on the splint with a 20% restocking fee. We do not provide shipping labels for returns.” No returns, but instead have to pay to have it restocked into your inventory while also playing for a shipping label because you have a faulty product?! I’m very disappointed in your company, what a scam, make products that work😩😭

Our dog has a torn Achilles tendon on his hind leg, and we tried another company's splint- first one where his paw stuck out the bottom, then a full splint- and he broke both of them within less than a month. I was searching online for a stronger version, as he cannot walk on his injured leg at all. His whole foot is flat on the ground. I came across Ortho Vet and thank goodness for that- I cannot say enough great things about everyone who works there! Mary in customer service is efficient and so kind; Chris who makes the splints is super informative and happy to assist- I think I spoke to him about six times during the process of trying to figure out what the best options are for my 90 pound Husky Malamute and although I am sure he was super busy, he was so patient and such an incredible resource! I feel so lucky to have found this group of folks. Shipping is incredibly fast, they get the products out immediately. We went ahead and ordered a custom splint and Chris is tailoring it to our dog's sore spots and strengthening the areas where he puts the most weight on the splint. It has been nothing but a five star experience. I also love that these are not made in China from sub par materials. Thank you, everyone at Ortho Vet, you rock!!

I purchased both an "off the shelf" standard size and a custom rear leg splint. I would recommend the custom splint, and if the need arises will definitely go custom immediately. It was easy to use, easy to clean, and lasted the duration of time that I needed. I received excellent customer service during my experience and am so glad that I found OrthoVet.

My dog had an ankle surgery and the vet recommended getting her a brace to help with the recovery. Orthovet is a great company with awesome customer service. The brace I ordered didn’t quite fit right and I was able to come in in person and they helped me find a good fitting one that’s more suitable for what she needed. Highly recommend these guys!!
